AAF AT MICHIGAN

We are the University of Michigan chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). Our organization's goal is to provide avenues through which Michigan students can learn, network, and gain skills in advertising.

This chapter competes in AAF District 6 of the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC). In this annual competition, a corporate sponsor (client) provides a case study outlining the history of its product and current challenge. Students must research the product and its competition, identify potential problem areas, and devise a completely integrated campaign for the client. Each student team then "pitches" its campaign to a panel of judges.

AAF at UMich intends to assist students in acquiring the intellectual skills needed to develop a well-planned and effective advertising campaign.
